After using all the bright colors for summer, it’s time to choose darker colored lipsticks. Dark red lipsticks have always been a must for fall, so they aren’t going anywhere, but they are not the only look you should try during this season. This season, women are making a statement with their beauty, and the results make for some fierce looks. In the runway, we saw sixties-inspired lashes, many glitter-heavy make-up looks, as well as colorful eyeliners.
A burnt-red shade flatters all skin tones (indeed) and is basically fall’s answer to summer’s bright purple/pink shades. I am wearing one of Seventeen’s new Collection All Day Lip Colors. Trustworthy shades that guarantee a statement make up look during fall and winter as well.

- To make this look work, keep the rest of your face natural because the lips are bold enough, so you don’t want to get confusing. I only used concealer to hide pimples and under eye circles.
- Then I used a brown toned eye pencil to define the outer corner of my eyes, added mascara (I am currently using this one, Lash Elegance Black Mascara, also form Seventeen – my absolute favorite at the moment).
- And last but not least, I applied blush on my cheekbones. I used the Paradise Palette.
- Skip the heavy contouring and the lip liner and voila!
My personal favorites from this collection are No50 Antique Ruby and No51 Red Carmelian (which I am wearing). The matte metal finish meets the rich color for the most fierce results and you can be sure that the lipstick isn’t going anywhere!
So what do you think of this makeup look? Is it something that you would try out? Red bold lippies are a must for fall!
